Kayla Moore is a screenwriter and natural creative. Originally from Nashville, surrounded by musicians, her voice emerged through lyrics and matured into scripts. She has always gravitated toward creative expression and the community it builds. In Los Angeles, she continued her career as a casting producer, where she excelled at collaborating with directors, producers, and talent.

Since August 2024, Kayla has been applauded by film festivals around the world. This festival run, and the buzz building around it, is based on her anthology series, 1944: A body of work that discusses LGBTQ-IA romantic connections during WW2. Her goal, beyond championing the tragic romances of 1944, is to build a network of passionate filmmakers that cares as much about inclusivity as she does so they can create and grow together.
